Building Compliance – exactly what is required under the regulations is difficult to ascertain and there are heavy penalties for non-compliance. To overcome our concerns we decided to engage Safe Workplace Solutions Pty Ltd to facilitate our compliance requirements on a number of properties we manage.

Previously we had engaged multiple contractors to perform the inspections which meant managing several accounts, ensuring they were getting the jobs done as and when required and then collating all the paperwork to make sure nothing is missed.

SAFE made the whole process simple and straightforward from completing the schedule of essential services requiring inspections (Form 46) right through to ensuring the maintenance of each of these essential systems were in fact compliant with the regulations and then issuing the Annual Maintenance Statement (Form 56).

All future inspections are scheduled automatically so our systems are always inspected on time ensuring we are meeting our legal obligations. In addition to this we can log in to SAFE’s maintenance system for all historical records, job status, future inspection dates and invoice history.

Using SAFE has been a real game changer for the way we deal with our Building Compliance responsibilities. Friendly and prompt service, great advice and peace of mind is what we needed and SAFE delivered it all to a very professional and cost effective standard.

I’d have no hesitation in recommending SAFE to any business requiring a simple solution for Building Compliance services.

As you can imagine, fire safety is of the utmost importance in a Retirement Village. We employed Safe Workplace Solutions to install fire extinguishers, fire blankets and smoke alarms in all of our 78 units. Lady Clark Retirement Village was then entered on a roster for regular maintenance and replacement of smoke alarm batteries and equipment as necessary. This system gave our organisation peace of mind knowing that this extremely important service was never overlooked as Safe Workplace Solutions always had our needs in hand.
On a professional level, SAFE’s Directors, Andrew and Cam Gott, are a pleasure to deal with. Nothing is ever too much trouble, they always return calls when required and will go out of their way to provide advice when asked.
Safe Workplace Solutions’ servicemen require a certain level of care and friendliness when they enter elderly residents’ units to undertake the equipment checks. I commend them on their professionalism and ability to gain the confidence of those residents, which can sometimes be a difficult task.
I would recommend any organisation such as ours to take advantage of the services provided by Safe Workplace Solutions.
Deborah Gower, Centre Manager (Marketing), Lady Clark Retirement Village

I have worked closely with SAFE Workplace Solutions for over 10 years. It has developed into a highly successful business providing a one stop shop for Fire Safety and Evacuation, Form 46 and Form 56 requirements, Electrical work and First aid supplies.
I contact SAFEWS to ask questions that my customers have in areas that I do not provide. This is a great help to me to save my customers searching for answers in an area which has significant fines and penalties.
Why do I keep my contact with them? Simply because I can talk to them on the phone, they will look after my customers and put their needs into a schedule which they can set and forget knowing that everything is taken care of.
We have co-presented information sessions together for our businesses and while we have a different scope, we are both concerned with keeping people safe and meeting compliance requirements.
I have watched their organisation grow and succeed and save money by conducting a range of services in the one visit, to reduce costs for their customers. One example saved a customer 65% by providing the identical services through a coordinated approach for as variety of checks as against individual visits.
I am delighted to recommend their services as the service is prompt efficient and accurate.
